Anthorea works across fresh, dried, preserved, silk and reconstructed botanicals — exploring flowers through colour, movement and transformation. With over 12 years of experience in floral design, including running her own studio in Hong Kong, Colour Freak Studio, she approaches flowers not simply as decoration, but as materials capable of evolving across different states and forms.

Now based in London and working independently, all works featured on this site are personally designed and created by her.

Her style is known for being colourful, abundant and expressive, often moving away from minimalist or muted floral aesthetics.

Although she completed the Dutch Floral Arrangement (DFA) certification in traditional fresh floral design, Anthorea has never believed that certificates alone define a florist. Much of her practice — including preserved flower colour restoration, silk floral styling, wedding decor and resin-based reconstruction art — were independently explored and self-taught through years of experimentation and hands-on practice.

This belief also inspired her to create courses encouraging people to enter floristry without feeling limited by formal qualifications.

Over the years, she has also taught numerous floral and creative workshops, including corporate team-building & cultural events, school programmes, and studio-based sessions.

She has also appeared on television multiple times, demonstrating floral resin techniques and showcasing botanical preservation.

While her creative approach can be experimental and unconventional, she also worked closely with clients across commercial and luxury projects. Over the years, she has collaborated multiple times with brands including Fendi and Coach, bringing together artistic exploration and professional floral design in a way that feels both distinctive and adaptable.
